Dr. M.Prabhakar completed his undergraduate education at Raja Muthaiah Medical College,
Annamalai University, Tamilnadu, (1989-1995) followed by Post-Graduate education at M.S.Ramaiah Medical
College, Bangalore. (1995-1998)
Dr. Prabhakar had his initial Urology training at Chrisitian Medical College Hospital,
Vellore, (1998-2001) followed by Super-speciality Urology Degree (Diplomate in National board) at Vedanayagam
Hospital & Post Graduate Institute, Coimbatore, (2001-2004) where he had
his intensive endourology training . Since 2004, he is in his private practice.
Dr.Prabhakar's special interest is endourology, especially Flexible Ureteroscopy and
Lasertripsy. Dr. Prabhakar is one of the few urologist to start Lasertripsy in India.
